How often will you mow my lawn?
When grass is growing faster we mow every two weeks. When the growing season slows in winter most lawns only require mowing every three weeks. We take into account the growth pattern of your lawn and can adjust from weekly cuts to monthly cuts in some occasions.

What is included in your mowing service?
Our service includes professional lawn mowing with a mulcher or a catcher.

All edges are trimmed with a weed eater, then footpaths, driveways and porches are blown clean from any grass and debris.

Note: an extra cost is included for use of a catcher due to removal of the clippings.

What if the lawn is overgrown?
We can still manage your lawn, however there will be extra cost due to increased time needed to cut your lawn to a good finish and due to the extra wear and tear on our gear, for example, blades, and gearbox.

With regular mowing you will soon see a great difference in the look of your lawn.

What are the benefits of mulching?
Mulching cuts the grass several times creating very fine clippings. These clippings are spread onto your lawn as we mow and will decompose quickly. Returning mulched grass to the lawn releases nitrogen and promotes beneficial earthworms and microorganisms to fertilize your lawn and care for your soil.

It also reduces the amount of garden waste created.

If a lawn is very overgrown there may be a small amount of visible clippings initially, with regular cuts there are no visible clippings on the lawn, and no clippings to be trampled inside by busy little feet.

What areas do you service?
We cover East and South Auckland communities and Franklin District. Areas covered include Howick, Mangere, Manukau, Flatbush, Papakura, Karaka, Pukekohe, Waiuku and Tuakau, to name a few. Give us a call to see if we can manage your lawn. 

Do I need to be home when you cut my lawn?
No, we just need to be able to access the lawn. This could involve leaving a side gate unlocked or providing access to a key.

We can manage a property while you are on holiday and manage rental properties.

Invoices can be emailed to you.

How do I get a free Quote?
Simple. Just give us a call or text, or email us though Facebook or our website. We will arrange a time to view your property and give you a quote.

Can you mow large sections?
Yes. We use a commercial Kubota zero-turn ride-on mower to manage large sections or roadside verges and give a quality finish to your lawn. We can either use a mulcher or simply discharge clippings on to your lawn.

How do I pay?
You can pay by online transfer, cheque or cash.

Do I have to remove dog poo before you come to mow?
Yes. Scoop or bag it off your lawn as it sprays over us, our gear, and your lawn/house/car etc. Please note: lawns with dog poo on them cannot be mown.

What if it rains when our lawn is due to be cut?
We do mow lawns when it rains. If your lawn is too soggy we will not mow until it dries out. If there is torrential rain we will mow on the next clear day.

What do I need to do before you come to mow the lawn?
Please ensure all dog poo is removed from the lawn.

It is helpful if obstacles are removed, ie. bikes, children’s toys, rubbish.

Remember to close your windows and bring your washing in so you are not affected by dust or grass.

If it is possible please ensure your car is not parked on the lawn or close to the lawn.
